Castle's Very Best of Bonnie Tyler succeeds where other anthologies have failed by providing fans with hits from both stages of the gravelly-voiced singer's career. Tyler's pre-Columbia collaborations with songwriters/producers Ronnie Scott and Steve Wolfe yielded a couple of classics including "It's a Heartache" and "Lost in France," but it's the over-blown 80-'s classic "Total Eclipse of the Heart" that tilts most listener's compasses in her direction.
