Transit Museum Society: An Inside Scoop!
Gerry O'Day interviewed Dale Laird, a Coast Mountain Bus operator who belongs to an organization called Trams (Transit Museum Society). Dale gives us the scoop on the historic railway returning to service this Spring, plus how you can get a piece of transit history. They have a number of Brill Trolley side destination signs in their collection that they'd like to sell. The signs have rollers and frames intact with all the old Vancouver city destinations and are selling for $50 each. A great gift for the bus nut in your family. They're not able to ship the signs so they must be picked up or you can arrange your own packing and shipping. Contact the Surrey Shop Manager at 778-994-4548 or visit http://trams.ca/newsletter/March2008.pdf for more details.
