95 Crave is proud to partner again with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for the Light The Night Walk 2008. We're excited to announce that this year, the walk has grown to 2 walks!!! The first one takes place in Ceperley Park, Stanley Park/English Bay in Vancouver on Saturday, September 27th at 7:30pm, and the other will take place at the Cloverdale Millenium Amphitheatre in Surrey on Saturday, October 4th at 7pm.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light The Night Walk is a 5 km twilight walk that features participants carrying illuminated balloons to celebrate and commemorate lives touched by cancer. Cancer supporters carry red balloons, cancer survivors carry white balloons & those that are walking in memory of a loved one carry gold balloons. Together, they "light the night" and truly brighten the future for millions touched by cancer. Each balloon is a beacon of hope as we raise money to find a cure.

There isn't a registration fee for Light The Night - however, we encourage every participant to fundraise and make a minimum donation of $25.00. This is one of the Society's biggest fundraising events of the year!

Anyone and everyone can participate in Light The Night. Children, adults and seniors are all welcome. This is a casual walk with no fitness requirements.

FUNDS RAISED WILL:

• Enable leading researchers to investigate causes, treatments and cures
• Provide patient services programs for patients and their families
• Help educate healthcare professionals on the latest medical advances
