SuperHits 650 CISL is proud to once again sponsor Camp Moomba Yogathon & Blissfest, taking place at UBC Thunderbird Stadium on Saturday, July 12th.

Over 2000 people will be participating in 108 minutes of yoga, raising funds for children impacted by HIV/AIDS. Eoin Finn and nine other of the city's top instructors will be leading. UBC Thunderbird Stadium will be the host of Canada's largest outdoor gathering of yoga instructors, yoga students and people in the health and wellness industry. The event will also include a Blissfest Marketplace and Food Fair, a showcase of local consumer products, services, delicacies, fashion show and music performances.

Camp Moomba is a specialized summer camp program for kids aged 6 - 17 years old who are impacted by HIV/AIDS. Many of the children that attend Camp Moomba are confronted by similar issues in their lives, many living in different socio-economic situations. By coming together every year, they're able to find the support that can only come from "understanding."

You don't have to be a seasoned yogi to participate! Anyone and everyone is encouraged and welcome. This will be especially beneficial to those wanting to study yoga but aren't sure of which type - throughout the 108 minutes, you will be introduced to different types.
