Billy Strange's Strange Country is full of all sorts of sounds that would make producers on the underground tip go wild today. When it came out back in the '60s, no one knew quite to make of it, with its layers of 6-, 12- and even 8-string guitars, banjos, tambourines, maracas, and what not.
