Vancouver's Greatest Hits 650 CISL Is Available On Cable FM

This alternative way to listen to CISL has always been around for awhile, but lots of our listeners just don't know about it. If you have Shaw Cable TV in the lower mainland, you can hear us on Cable FM at 91.3. You need to hitch your stereo up to cable to do this if it isn't already hooked up, and check first before you do the following steps:

Buy a few feet of regular TV cable - measure the distance from the cable outlet to the stereo. Usually five feet will do. You may need two of these cables.

You will also need to buy an ISOLATION 3 WAY SPLITTER. This is quite common at electronic stores like The Source. Then split the cable between the TV and the Stereo.

One cable comes from the wall into the 3 way splitter, and the other two are connected to the stereo. You need to see what connection your stereo requires - more modern ones simply have the cable connect directly into it. Otherwise, you might need to have a stereo adapter on the end of the cable.

Turn your stereo on and set it on your cable or aux. switch and adjust to 91.3 FM. This is not true stereo, but pretty close and playing it in your office or through your store PA is a great alternative to not getting your SUPERHITS at all. Your electronics store can more fully explain the right cables and splitters to buy.
